My EMM(Engineering Metals and Metallurgy) professor started his class as ususal with : There are three things that must always be open......the umberlla, the parachute and last but not the least, your MIND. Then we embarked on the process of learning about different metals, their alloys....etcetera.....etcetera (phew...thats tough!!!) with an OPEN mind. And what a process!!! The lights went off, the speed of the fans was increased and the projector was switched on. The room had a semblance of a theatre. The power point presentation began accompanied by our teacher's explanations wherever necessry. After fifteen minutes, his voice dimmed a bit and his words became obscure. And I thought "Oh....no! The sandman is getting me!!!" I started to feel as though a bunch of bananas have been hung to my eyelids. Some ten minutes later, the force of gravity acted strongly on my head.....that sudden jerk woke me up (sigh.....that was a nice dream) and the siren (thats our college bell) went off. I thanked heavens not because the class was finally over but because i slept through it without being caught. So much for an OPEN MIND!!!!!
I ONLY WISH I COULD DO THIS
